Data released by the Secretary of Foreign Trade (Secex) this Friday (04) indicate that the total revenue from unroasted coffee exports in March 2025 was US$ 1.424 billion, compared to US$ 739.283 million recorded in March 2024. Daily revenue was US$ 74.984 million in March/25, registering an increase of 92.7% compared to the same period last year, where the average was US$ 39.964 million.
The total volume exported in March/25 was 219.132 million tons, and in March of last year it was 208.295 million tons. The daily average exported of the product during March/25 was 11.533 tons, registering an increase of 5.2% compared to the amount shipped in March/24, which had an average of 10.414 tons.
Regarding the value negotiated for the grain, in March 2025 there was an advance of 83.2%, registering US$ 6,501.60, compared to US$ 3,549.20 (March/24).
Roasted coffee, extracts, essences and concentrates
The volume of roasted coffee, extracts, essences and concentrates shipped during the month of March/25 reached 7,438 tons, compared to 7,877 tons for the 20 days of March/24. The daily average was 391 tons (March/25), thus registering a drop of 5.6% compared to March/24, which was 393 tons.
As for export revenue, March 2025 registered US$$ 94.799 million, and in March 2024 the total revenue was US$$ 65.707 million. The daily average was
US$ 4.989 million in March/25, accounting for an advance of 44.3% compared to the daily average in March/24, which was US$ 3.285 million.
Regarding the average price, in March 2025 the product was traded for US$ 12,745.00 and had an appreciation of 52.8% compared to the average price traded during the same period in 2024, which was US$ 8,341.70.
