According to information from the Federal Government's Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), released this Friday (7), exports of poultry meat and its edible offal, fresh, chilled or frozen until the fourth week of February (20 working days), performed well compared to February 2024.
The revenue obtained from chicken meat exports so far in February, US$ 779,934.393, exceeded by 22.03% the total collected in the entire month of February 2024, which was US$ 639,124.931. In the case of the volume shipped, the 436,742.279 tons represent an increase of 18.50% over the volume recorded in February 2024, amounting to 368,530.306 tons.
In comparison with the result of chicken meat exports in January 2025, the revenue obtained from chicken meat exports until the end of February, US$ 779,934,393, represents 3.48% more than the total collected in the entire month of January, which was US$ 753,667,494. In the case of the volume shipped, the 436,742,279 tons exported in February represent 5.10% more than the volume recorded in January, amounting to 415,533,727 tons.
Average daily revenue up to this point in the month was US$ 38,996,719, an amount 22.0% more than that recorded in February 2024. Compared to the previous week, there was a drop of 7.59% when compared to the US$ 42,201,935 seen last week.
In the case of tons per daily average, there were 21,837.113, there was a growth of 18.5% compared to the same month in 2024. When compared to the result in the item of the previous week, there was a decrease of 7.97% in relation to the 23,728.528 tons of the previous week.
The price paid per ton, US$ 1,785.800, is 3.0% higher than that practiced in February last year. The result, compared to the value reached in the previous week, represents a modest increase of 0.40% compared to the value of US$ 1,778.531 seen last week.
