One of the largest and most important events in the soybean production chain in the country, the Aprosoja Circuit will enter its 14th edition on April 22, bringing information and debates to rural producers from all regions of Mato Grosso. The event created and coordinated by the Association of Soybean and Corn Producers of Mato Grosso (Aprosoja-MT) has as its central theme in this edition “Cost + Taxation = Agriculture at Risk”. Over the course of three months, the Aprosoja teams will travel to 24 municipalities in Mato Grosso, plus the capital, which will host the closing ceremony on June 10.
This year, Aprosoja has innovated and the Circuit will be formatted as a round table that will allow for greater integration between speakers and rural producers, the main focus of the project. The debates will be attended by the presenter and analyst of politics and economics for Canal Rural, Miguel Daoud, the executive director of Aprosoja Brasil, Fabrício Rosa, and the president of Aprosoja-MT, Antonio Galvan. The mediation will be carried out by journalist and presenter of the program Direto ao Ponto, Glauber Silveira.
“The theme chosen this year is based on issues that we have been discussing daily, issues that we work on every day to defend producers. ‘Cost + Taxation = Agriculture at Risk’. We will also address other issues of interest to the sector, always listening to rural producers, the demands and suggestions that come from those who feel the impacts of high taxation, lack of investment in logistics, among others, on a daily basis. It will be a chat, a feedback session between the president and the entire board of directors with rural producers in the 24 Aprosoja centers”, explained Galvan.
The work will begin in the Northern Region of Mato Grosso and will cover the cities of Cláudia, Sinop, Vera, Sorriso, Lucas do Rio Verde, Tapurah and Nova Mutum. At the beginning of May, the Aprosoja caravan will head to the Western Region with events in the cities of Campos de Júlio, Sapezal, Campo Novo do Parecis, Tangará da Serra and Diamantino. In the second half of the same month, it will be the turn of the Southern Region of the State to receive the team, with the cities of Alto Taquari, Alto Garças, Rondonópolis, Primavera do Leste, Campo Verde and Jaciara.
In June, the Aprosoja Circuit team will also travel through the Eastern Region of Mato Grosso with events in Gaúcha do Norte, Canarana, Querência, Porto Alegre do Norte, Água Boa and Nova Xavantina. The closing of the Circuit will be at Cenarium Rural, in Cuiabá, on June 10th, at 7 pm.
“The Circuit has been held since the Association’s first year of existence, in 2005, and has become one of our main events and, without a doubt, a reference in Brazil. Our focus and difference has always been to bring information to our members’ homes. We count on everyone’s participation in this 14th edition,” invited president Antonio Galvan.
