Inauguration of the Luzia Maggi Scheffer Executive Aviation Terminal puts Mato Grosso definitively on the sector map

During the Bom Futuro Aviation Experience in Cuiabá, held on May 30 and 31, which brought together the main brands and manufacturers in the executive aviation segment, the new Luzia Maggi Scheffer Executive Aviation Terminal was inaugurated, considered the most modern in the Midwest. On that occasion, the event marked the celebration of Bom Futuro's 43rd anniversary, and was attended by businesspeople, customers and politicians from the state and federal spheres.

For Bom Futuro CEO Kleverson Scheffer, this is the realization of a long-term vision, considering the future needs of executive aviation as a whole. “For Bom Futuro, the inauguration of this terminal represents a consolidation of our essence, which was to come here to Mato Grosso, the Midwest, agribusiness, Brazil, to take our production to feed and clothe the world. This is a structure that we have always seen the need to improve. We thought about it five years ago, implemented it two years ago, and projected it into a format for the future as well, for other expansions, for other opportunities. It is a consolidated business, which we understand has a lot of potential to continue growing,” he explained.

The governor of Mato Grosso, Mauro Mendes, attended the Aviation Experience and the inauguration of the Luzia Maggi Scheffer terminal, and described the new structure as a facilitating increment for the development of the region. “Our air transport is essential because large companies, executives, and various types of transport that use this mode of transport increasingly need infrastructure. And this Bom Futuro airport is a spectacle, it is modern, efficient, very well located in relation to the main decision-making centers of our capital of the state of Mato Grosso, and I am sure that it will be a great contribution to promoting the development here in the Cuiabá lowlands and also of the entire state of Mato Grosso”, he highlighted.

According to the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, the modern structure, convenience and exclusive services put Mato Grosso at the forefront of other developing regions, an added bonus for attracting investors. “The strength and vigor of Mato Grosso are reflected in this bold venture, which shows the future of the state, which is ready to welcome entrepreneurs and investors. A state that is in a primary position and has been transformed by agribusiness, and a terminal like this is the gateway for businesspeople to come and hold their meetings, conduct their negotiations and quickly return to their home state. And with a terminal like this, they will certainly leave their investments here in the state,” he pointed out.

Approximately R$20 million was invested in the Luzia Maggi Scheffer Executive Aviation Terminal, which offers all the amenities and exclusivity to customers and crew. Among the unique features is a VIP Lounge, which has covered parking, charging points for electric vehicles, a cafeteria, a conference room, a playroom, a meeting room, a crew lounge, a rest room, a games room, private rooms, a gym, a movie theater and changing rooms. The spaces were designed to combine privacy and functionality to offer a unique experience for passengers and crew.

Over R$100 million has been invested in the structure of the first and largest executive airport in the Central-West region, which opened in 2011. In figures, it serves an average of 6,000 flights per year and handles around 20,000 passengers. Located 10 minutes from the Political and Administrative Center of Cuiabá, the airport has a runway measuring 1,557 meters long and 30 meters wide and is prepared to receive a range of aircraft sizes.
