The progress of the summer corn harvest has been punctually increasing the supply of the cereal, which has limited, in the last week, price increases in some regions monitored by Cepea.
In other markets, especially those that produce during the summer season, prices even fell.
In general, however, Cepea research shows that high prices still prevail, sustained by the withdrawal of a large part of sellers, who prioritize field work and deliveries of soybean batches.
The summer corn harvest and the sowing of the second crop are intense in Brazil and already within the average of recent seasons.
