THE C.Vale The cooperative expanded its storage infrastructure in Mato Grosso with the acquisition of two new grain receiving units in the municipalities of São José do Rio Claro and Nova Mutum. The facilities are located in the communities of Wypych and Novo Horizonte, respectively, and reinforce the cooperative's expansion strategy in the country's main soybean and corn producing state.
Each unit has a static storage capacity of 55,000 tons of grain, equivalent to approximately 916,000 sacks. The structures also include two weighbridges, two tippers, and occupy an area of 10 hectares.

With the new additions, the cooperative now has a total of 18 grain receiving units in Mato Grosso. The expansion comes just weeks after the company announced the acquisition of another storage facility in Porto dos Gaúchos, also in the state.
According to the regional manager of the cooperative in Mato Grosso, Renato RamboThe investments are part of a new growth cycle for the operation in the state. According to him, the priority now will be the maintenance of equipment to enable the reception of this year's second corn crop.
Rambo states that the recent acquisitions represent a restructuring and strengthening of the cooperative's presence in the region, considered strategic for the national agribusiness.
The chairman of the cooperative's board of directors, Alfredo LangHe highlighted that expanding receiving capacity aims to offer faster delivery of production and greater security in the marketing of grains to members.
C.Vale has been operating in Mato Grosso since 1981 and has been expanding its logistics and operational structure to keep pace with the growth of agricultural production in the state.
