Agricultural exports totaled US$1.2 billion in February.

Brazilian agribusiness exports totaled US$12 billion in February 2026, a growth of 13% compared to January and 7.4% compared to the same month last year, according to data from Itaú BBA Agro Consulting based on Secex.

Performance was driven primarily by the soybean complex, with the harvest progressing. Shipments of soybeans reached 7.1 million tons, an increase of 111% year-on-year, while the average price rose 4.4% to US$412.9 per ton. Soybean meal exports reached 1.7 million tons, an increase of 3%, with a decrease of 3% in prices. Soybean oil shipments saw a strong increase, practically doubling to 221,000 tons, accompanied by a price increase of 13%.

In the protein segment, fresh beef stood out, with 236,000 tons exported in February, an increase of 24% and a record for the month. The average price also rose, reaching US$5,640.9 per ton. Chicken meat totaled 427,000 tons, a growth of 5.4%, with a price increase of 4%. Pork shipments reached 104,000 tons, an increase of 3.2%, with the average price remaining stable compared to the previous year.

In the sugar and ethanol sector, ethanol exports grew by 50% compared to February 2025, totaling 60,000 cubic meters, with a 4% increase in prices. VHP sugar saw a 32% increase in shipped volume, reaching 2 million tons, but with a 23% decrease in the average price. On the other hand, refined sugar registered a 22% decrease in shipments and a 19% drop in prices.

Among other products, green coffee exports totaled 142,000 tons, a decrease of 17% compared to the previous year, while the average price increased by 20%, reaching US$7,191 per ton.
