The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), André de Paula, held an institutional meeting last Friday (10) with the new president of ApexBrasil, Laudemir Müller, and the former president of the agency, Jorge Viana. The meeting also included the participation of Mapa's executive secretary, Cleber Soares, and the Chief of Staff, Andriana Toledo.
The agenda aimed to introduce the new head of ApexBrasil and align strategic priorities between the institutions, which maintain a consolidated partnership in promoting Brazilian agribusiness abroad.

During the meeting, Minister André de Paula highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) and ApexBrasil for expanding exports and opening new markets. According to him, this joint effort has been fundamental in strengthening the presence of Brazilian agricultural products on the international stage.
The minister also highlighted the role played by the previous management of ApexBrasil in institutional rapprochement and the results achieved. The agency has contributed directly to the holding of international forums, trade promotion, and the expansion of markets for Brazilian products.

Over the past few years, ApexBrasil has opened strategic offices in Brazil and abroad and participated in the organization of more than 20 international forums, increasing the country's visibility and creating opportunities for the national productive sector.
The new president of ApexBrasil, Laudemir Müller, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to continuing the work already underway and further strengthening its joint operations with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa). He emphasized that the agency will continue to work in an integrated manner to support the productive sector, attract investments, and promote Brazilian exports.
Former president Jorge Viana also participated in the meeting, reinforcing the importance of the development agenda.

He highlighted regional development and the opening of markets as instruments for generating employment and income in the country. He mentioned successful experiences in expanding agricultural exports, especially in production chains that have been gaining ground in the international market.
Executive Secretary Cleber Soares highlighted the significant results achieved by Brazil in opening new markets, emphasizing the role of institutional partnerships in this process.
