Marcos Aurelio Santiago Francozo is a Strategic Intelligence Analyst specializing in Science, Technology, and Policy at Embrapa. He is also one of the event organizers and says that research plays a crucial role in developing solutions "that combine increased productivity, reduced environmental impacts, and value generation for the entire chain." Studies in genetics, digital agriculture, and crop-livestock integration are among the areas that can strengthen the sector's resilience in the face of market demands and environmental pressures.
