The Brazilian government and the Costa Rican government have concluded sanitary and phytosanitary negotiations so that Brazil can export bovine by-products for animal feed and popcorn to that country.
In 2024, Brazil exported more than US$1,500,000 in agricultural products to Costa Rica, with emphasis on cereals, flours and preparations, as well as soybean complex products.
With this announcement, Brazil reaches 419 market openings since the beginning of 2023.
These results are the result of joint work between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
