The main driver of the advance was the soybean complex. Soybean exports totaled 16.7 million tons, the highest volume shipped in the year, generating revenue of US$7 billion. The average price reached US$416 per ton, an annual increase of 8.41%. "In the soybean complex, exports advanced with increased availability," highlights Itaú BBA Agro Consulting in its report.
Soybean meal also registered growth. The exported volume increased by 13% compared to April 2025, totaling 2.4 million tons. Soybean oil, on the other hand, saw a decrease of 7.8% in shipments, but accumulated its fifth consecutive month of price increases, reaching US$1,191 per ton, an annual increase of 15%.
Beef prices rise, driven by China.
Among animal proteins, fresh beef was one of the main highlights of the month. The volume exported grew 4.31% year-on-year, reaching 252,000 tons. Of this total, 135,000 tons were destined for China, equivalent to 541% of Brazilian shipments.

In addition to volume, prices also increased. The average value of exported beef reached US$6,241 per ton, an increase of 241 compared to April 2025 and 7.31 compared to March of this year. "China paid more for the meat and influenced the price increase," points out Itaú BBA Agro Consulting.
