At an event that brought together more than 400 people, including customers, partners, employees, and representatives from the Dealer Network, Stara inaugurated its first Distribution Center (DC) outside of Rio Grande do Sul on June 18th in Aparecida de Goiás/GO. This was another important step in the company's trajectory of innovation, proximity to the field, and commitment to Brazilian agribusiness.
Located in one of the country's main logistics hubs, the Goiás Parts Distribution Center plays a strategic role in the company's operations, serving the states in the northern half of Brazil. The headquarters unit, located in Não-Me-Toque (RS), will continue to be responsible for the southern half. This division allows for closer access to inventory for customers in Bahia, Goiás, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Pará, Piauí, Rondônia, Roraima, Sergipe, and Tocantins, reducing distances and making deliveries faster.
With this expansion, therefore, Stara increases its parts distribution capacity and further strengthens the quality of support offered to rural producers, ensuring greater speed, component availability, and efficiency in after-sales service.
During the inauguration ceremony, Stara's CEO, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, emphasized the importance of the undertaking. “This Parts Distribution Center here in Goiás marks the beginning of a new era for Stara. We are expanding our structure to be even closer to rural producers and dealerships. Our goal is to ensure that the customer has the necessary part exactly when they need it, contributing to their field operations remaining highly productive,” he stated.
Átila also emphasized that the concern for meeting the needs of farmers has been part of the company's essence since its founding. “Stara and our family originate from agriculture. My grandfather, Seu Chico, was a farmer, so we know the needs of the field well and understand that time is a valuable resource for rural producers. Therefore, we constantly seek to invest in solutions, technology, and infrastructure to deliver the best to our customers. This new Parts Distribution Center is yet another demonstration of this commitment,” he highlighted.
Recalling Stara's history of constant evolution, the company's Managing Partner, Mr. Gilson Lari Trennepohl, emphasized that the brand's presence in the Central-West, North, and Northeast regions of the country is the result of work developed over more than four decades. “It's a very emotional moment to see this happen. For over 40 years we have traveled through these regions, visiting clients, dealerships, and producers, building relationships and understanding firsthand the challenges of agribusiness. Today, seeing Stara inaugurate a structure of this size in Goiás shows how much we have evolved and, above all, how committed we remain to being close to those who trust in our work,” he stated.
He also praised the work of the people who build the company's trajectory every day. “There's a phrase that has been with me since 1989 and that perfectly represents what we believe in: none of us is as good as all of us together. A company isn't built by a single person. It's the result of the work of many people who dedicate themselves daily and walk in the same direction,” he emphasized, reaffirming his confidence in the potential of Brazilian agribusiness. “Stara will continue to evolve, just as agribusiness will continue to grow. We believe in Brazil's potential, in the strength of the rural producer, and in our ability to overcome challenges when we work together,” he concluded.
Following the inauguration ceremony, guests were able to get a close look at the modern structure of the new Distribution Center, in a guided tour led by representatives of the unit. Afterwards, they participated in a celebratory dinner.
