Southern Brazil accounts for 89.91% of Brazilian pork exports.

Brazilian pork exports will remain concentrated in the Southern region in 2026. According to data from ABPA Annual ReportRegarding the year-to-date figures up to May, the three southern states accounted for 89.9% of national shipments of the product.

Santa Catarina leads exports, accounting for 50.69% of the Brazilian total, equivalent to 756,699 tons. Next are Rio Grande do Sul, with 23.35% and 348,615 tons shipped, and Paraná, responsible for 15.88% of exports, with a volume of 237,115 tons.

Outside the Southern region, Minas Gerais accounts for 2.51% of exports, totaling 37,513 tons, while Mato Grosso accounts for 2.56%, with 38,267 tons shipped.

The remaining Brazilian states together account for 4.99% of national pork exports in 2026, totaling 74,516 tons.
