Tilapia loses value in the domestic market and exports suffer a decline

Regarding Brazilian tilapia exports, the volume shipped fell sharply in August, to 797 tons, 40.6% less than in the previous month and 41.3% lower than that recorded in the same period in 2024, according to Secex data compiled and analyzed by Cepea.
