Soybean and corn crops are progressing in the fields with good conditions and accelerated planting in Paraná.

The increase in rainfall in recent weeks has ensured a good pace for the planting of the main grain crops in Paraná. According to the Weekly Bulletin of the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), the sowing of soybeans for the 2025/26 season has reached 52% of the planned area of 5.77 million hectares, with crops in good development conditions.

The outlook is also favorable for the first corn crop, whose planting is practically complete in the state. According to the survey, 94% of the estimated 333,000 hectares have been sown, and the crops are performing well so far.

The combination of adequate soil moisture and mild temperatures has favored germination and initial plant growth, reinforcing the positive outlook for the 2025/26 cycle. Deral highlights that the agricultural calendar is in line with the historical average, after a season start marked by climatic instabilities in some regions.

With the progress of soybean and corn production, Paraná is consolidating its position among the largest national grain producers, supported by a good technical assistance infrastructure, the use of technology in the field, and the strong presence of cooperatives. The expectation is that weather conditions will continue to favor crop development in the coming weeks, guaranteeing good productive potential for the harvest.
