Rural credit shows high adoption in soybean cultivation.

The use of rural credit intended for financing soy It showed a high level of correspondence with the cultivation identified in the financed areas in the 2025/26 crop season. According to a study by Serasa Experian, 82.61% of the analyzed operations showed alignment between the purpose of the financing and the presence of the crop in the evaluated areas.

The survey, called the Soybean Map, evaluated 42,691 financing operations, equivalent to 1.97 million hectares financed. The result represents an increase of 6.6 percentage points compared to the 2022/23 crop year, when the recorded adherence was 76%.

Of the total analyzed, 66.7% of the operations did not present any possible deviation from the intended purpose. Another 15.9% had a difference of up to 10% between the financed area and the presence of soybeans, a situation that may be related to the scale of the mapping or inaccuracies in the reported boundaries of the plots.

In 17.4% of the cases, however, the discrepancy exceeded 10% of the financed area. Within this group, 10.6% of the operations had differences between 10% and 50%, 3.7% between 50% and 90%, and 3.1% between 90% and 100%. These operations are associated with more than R$ 2.2 billion in credit granted, approximately 25% of the financial volume analyzed.

The study emphasizes that the identified discrepancies do not, in themselves, prove irregular use of resources, but serve as indicators for more detailed documentary, registration, contractual, or agronomic analyses.

In the climate analysis, 1.53 million plots were monitored, totaling 46.9 million hectares of soybeans. Of this total, 97.8% of the area was planted within the periods recommended by the Agricultural Zoning of Climatic Risk. The largest portion, equivalent to 84.9%, was classified within the agroclimatic risk range of 20%.
