The final stretch for registering areas designated for the early planting of soy It has already begun, focusing producers' attention on the deadlines and requirements of the 2026/27 harvest. The measure seeks to provide more flexibility to the agricultural calendar, allow for better use of land, and organize crop rotation in the Cerrado region of Bahia.
Soybean farmers interested in bringing forward their planting season must register their areas by August 31st through the website of the Bahia Farmers and Irrigators Association (Aiba). Registration is a necessary step for those who intend to use the early planting window, defined between September 25th and October 7th, 2026. Access to the registration is available at http://tinyurl.com/antecipacaop.
Registration follows the rules of State Decree No. 050/2026, from the Bahia Agricultural Defense Agency, Adab. This agency is responsible for the inspection, evaluation, and approval of registrations, based on the phytosanitary requirements established for the activity. The goal is to ensure compliance with the planned agricultural practices and contribute to a safer and more productive harvest.
By registering in advance, producers can shorten production windows and expand the possibilities for crop rotation in the same area. Therefore, in addition to registering on time, it is necessary to observe the dates scheduled in the official calendar.
The regular soybean planting window begins on October 8 and continues until December 31, 2026. This period officially marks the start of the 2026/27 crop season for producers who do not opt for early planting.
