The harvest of the second crop of corn The 2025/26 season is practically complete in Paraná, while planting for the first 2026/27 crop is progressing in the state. The result considers the areas planted during the 2025/26 cycle and shows that only a small portion of the production remains in the field. At the same time, producers in Paraná are moving forward with the planting of the first 2026/27 corn crop.
According to data released by Deral/Seab, the percentage of the first crop sown reached 43% out of the 373,000 hectares projected for the 2026/27 cycle. The progress recorded this week indicates continued work on planting the new crop, which already has almost half of the planned area sown. The conditions of the already planted crops also remain predominantly favorable.

Thus, most of the crops that have already been planted are in good condition at the beginning of this cycle. This scenario occurs while the state concludes the work on the second crop and continues planting the first corn crop of 2026/27.
