The Imea (Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics) released a report providing updates on the corn harvest in the state. The survey highlights that the commercialization of the 2024/25 corn crop advanced 2.26 percentage points throughout November, reaching 83.37% of the total harvested.

"This increase reflects the release of stocks by producers, who are preparing for the soybean harvest," explain the technicians from Imea.

Despite the monthly increase, sales remain 6.38 percentage points below that recorded in the same period of the previous harvest, due to "the lower competitiveness of corn in the international market, which has reduced external demand."

Regarding prices, the value traded in November/25 showed an increase of 1.97% compared to October/25, closing at an average of R$ 48.09 per sack.

2025/26 CROP

For the upcoming planting season, the pace of sales remains slow, with a monthly increase of only 1.70 percentage points throughout November, reaching 25.26% of the estimated production.

"The limited performance results from producers' reduced interest in closing new contracts, given the uncertainties for the next cycle," the Institute points out.

The average price negotiated in November 2025 for the 2025/26 crop registered a drop of 1.38%, ending the month at R$ 45.57/sc.
