Brazilian egg shipments, including fresh and processed products, grew in April, maintaining the upward trend that has been observed since the beginning of the year.
According to researchers at Cepea, the increase in exports of the product was driven, for the second consecutive month, by strong demand from the United States.
In April, the North American country remained the main destination for Brazilian eggs, being responsible for receiving 65% of the total volume exported.
According to data from Secex, compiled and analyzed by Cepea researchers, Brazil exported 4.34 thousand tons of fresh and processed eggs in April, a volume 15% higher than that recorded in March/25 and a significant 271% above that of April 2024.
The United States was the destination for 2.86 thousand tons of eggs (fresh and processed), a strong increase of 45% compared to the March volume.
