Harvest and weather drive up corn prices.

A survey by Cepea shows that corn prices continue to rise, driven by producers holding back, as they remain focused on field activities and also pay close attention to the pace of exports.

On the other hand, according to the Research Center, weak demand has been limiting price increases.

Many buyers only trade when necessary, consuming, for the time being, stocks and/or lots that were negotiated in advance.

In the field, researchers emphasize that the weather has been favorable for work involving the summer crop.

The return of the rains should favor the producing regions of the South of the country and, above all, allow the sowing of the second crop in the Midwest in 2026 during the period considered ideal.

Therefore, expectations are that Brazilian cereal production will be good next season.
