Pork exports from Paraná are advancing with new markets and increased international demand.

Pig farming in Paraná continues its growth trajectory in exports in 2026. According to the Conjunctural Bulletin of the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), the State recorded the highest volumes ever shipped for the first two months of the historical series.

In January, 17,020 tons of pork were exported, while in February the volume reached 20,620 tons. Despite the increase, the monthly record still belongs to September 2025, when Paraná shipped 25,180 tons.

The positive performance is attributed to the opening of new markets in 2025, such as Peru and Chile, in addition to increased purchases by the Philippines, which expanded its imports by 442.1% compared to the previous year, totaling 9,300 tons in the accumulated total for 2026.

Among the main destinations for pork from Paraná are also Hong Kong, with 6,500 tons, Uruguay (5,100 tons), Singapore (4,200 tons), Argentina (3,700 tons), Vietnam (1,800 tons), Ivory Coast (1,500 tons), as well as Peru (840 tons), Georgia (720 tons) and Chile (642 tons).
