Rainfall in Paraná is beginning to put wheat producers on alert, according to surveys by Cepea. The research center indicates that, in addition to causing delays in the cereal harvest, the rainfall could compromise crops that are still in the field.
In Rio Grande do Sul, weather conditions (light rainfall) have maintained high productive potential. According to Emater/RS, productivity in the state should increase by 17.261 TP4T compared to the previous year, to 3.261 t/ha, resulting in a production of 3.721 million tons, 0.571 TP4T above the last harvest.

Higher yields in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina have increased the Brazilian production and productivity estimate for 2025, according to a report released this month by Conab. The harvest is now projected at 7.698 million tons, 2.21 TP4T above the September forecast, but 2.41 TP4T lower than that of 2024.
Regarding productivity, there was an increase of 2.11 TP4T compared to the previous report, and it is estimated to be 21.81 TP4T higher than the previous season's 3.142 t/ha.
With expectations of a high-yield harvest, a weak dollar, and high production in Argentina (the main country of origin for Brazilian imports), a survey by Cepea shows that prices in Brazil remain under pressure.
