The National Rural Learning Service of Mato Grosso (Senar MT), in partnership with rural unions, is offering an extensive training program in February. In total, more than a thousand courses will be held in 127 municipalities in Mato Grosso, through the work of 95 rural unions, expanding access to professional training and social development in rural areas.
The program includes approximately one thousand training sessions distributed among Rural Professional Training (FPR) and Social Promotion (PS) courses, serving workers, rural producers, young people, and families in the countryside. The training covers various production chains in the agricultural sector, focusing on improving productivity, workplace safety, and the adoption of sustainable practices.
Among the main highlights are the courses related to Regulatory Standards (NRs), which play a fundamental role in accident prevention and compliance with legal requirements in the rural environment. These training programs contribute directly to worker safety and the organization of rural properties, reducing risks and promoting better working conditions.
Another strategic focus of the program is digital inclusion, with courses aimed at the use of digital technologies, management tools, and access to information. The goal is to bring rural workers closer to technological innovations, strengthening connectivity in the countryside and expanding opportunities for insertion into the job market and more efficient management of productive activities.
The agenda also includes training focused on the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery and implements, an area that has shown increasing demand in Mato Grosso. With the technological evolution of rural activity, the need for qualified professionals to operate increasingly modern equipment is growing, ensuring efficiency, safety, and better use of resources.
According to Victor Fazinga, regional coordinator for Senar MT, continuous investment in training is crucial for strengthening the agricultural sector. “Agribusiness is undergoing a constant process of modernization, and professional qualification is essential to keep pace with this progress. Mato Grosso still faces a shortage of skilled labor, especially for operating machinery and new technologies,” he emphasizes.
Through the Mato Grosso Agriculture and Livestock Federation System (Sistema Famato), Senar MT works in an integrated manner with rural unions, offering free training courses aimed at rural workers and producers. The courses are planned according to local demands, meeting the realities and needs of each municipality.
